We at Artany Art Advisory and Gallery (AAGA) are here to strengthen the emerging Ismaili artist community, The Ismaili Muslims, or the ‘The Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims‘ belong to the Shia branch of Islam and are a culturally diverse community living in over 25 countries around the world and approximately 12 to 15 million in number. 

Taniya Dharani, the founder holds a Master’s degree in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Arts, London with a focus on developing a commercial as well as an aesthetic platform for promoting, motivating, and educating emerging Ismaili artists. 

Taniya Dharani, with her multicultural and cosmopolitan background, bridges the gap between Eastern and Western cultures through her extensive knowledge and professional experience. Taniya’s multilingual abilities, as well as her knowledge of both Far Eastern and Western cultures, including those of India, Namibia, and England, enables her to communicate effectively and appropriately with a wide range of stakeholders. 

She realized the need for a mentor and a platform where artists and collectors can collaborate. After discovering a market gap, she decided to attend the Sotheby’s Institute of Art’s for MA Art Business program to expand her knowledge. It is her ambition and dream to ensure Artany’s team aligns with the modern and diverse Ismaili community. 

Together the team will ensure Ismaili artists create artwork as a full-time profession and become internationally renowned. She also wants to ensure that Ismaili art collectors would further support the emerging artist community.
