Taslim’s paintings are message-driven and filled with optimism. Her work is meditative and encourages the viewer to contemplate different realities and possibilities. She often incorporates multicoloured trees and seascapes into her work as she draws from her imagination and internal dialogue. Birds are commonly depicted when exploring political issues.
Laws of Creation and Imaginencourages the viewer to consider the unlimited possibilities available to us in this existence, and beyond. There is more to our world than we realize, beyond the information our brains can gather from our five senses. These are meditative pieces and open to interpretation.
